My favorite show as a child[TV]

TV for children these days well I don't like it. I will now note that I don't have nor ever had any pay TV of any sort)

This is my list of my favorite shows (I get goose bumps from this). 

Note: This is kids show list.

• Kideo

"KIDEO KIDEO KIDEO!!! do do do do do do do do do... come on and lets all go to Kideo.... KIDEO!!!

I can't remeber the characters!!! Mr Chinwag (Crisp carrot yum yum yum oh what fun it is to eat...), A blue sock and some other sock, Timothy Traddle (OH whoa is me? what am I going to do?... I get a chuck in my cheek and my knees go weak. My shell gets so heavy i can hadly speak. I don't  know what to do. I haven't got a clue. I don't know what to do.), Molly Matronome. I didn't like Pedro the music man, and the lady who talked to Mr Chinwag and was like the adult of the show. Seemed grounded while we were all flying around in our imagination. 

• Galooby

"Galooby is a dragon, a dragon... a dragon..., Galooby is a dragon...

come along and join us... playing together... you never will be lonely as long as we're around."

I still sings a song from Galooby these days when i am sad and missing home. 

"one little tear drop, falling all alone... met another tear drop and told him to come home... and when they got there... huddle puddle duddle. tear drops together made a great big puddle!"  I know those are not the right words but thats what I heard when I was young and I don't know I it really goes. 

I think the reason I liked Galooby was that my dad was almost always at work and Galooby played with his Kids all day and comforted them when they were sad and played with their friends... ALWAYS BLAME THE DAD!!!

can't remember how it went but I do remember getting all excited when she changed and lifted her sword and went: "MINA MGINGU SHIIIIRAA!!!!!".

• The Smurfs

• Popey Spinach
  

"I'm popey the sailor man, I'm popey the sailor man..."  With his strange arms that I never got and Olive Oyle. Bruto and then he married Olive and still Bruto was causing trouble. He had a son that didn't like spinach and OH GOSH!!! It was wonderfull.

• Pumkin Patch

"Pumpkin patch, oh oh hho hho, pumpkin patch lets go play in pumpkin patch whoa whoo!!" can't remember but I think it was in Kideo

• Sonic the Hedgehog

• Care bears

They are on SABC1 on Saturdays but  I am not as excited as I was when I was younger. 

• Hammer Man

Talking shoes were the best!!! I'd have friend where ever I went. 

• Captain Planet

"EARTH! FIRE! WIND! WATER! HEART! GO! PLANET!. By your powers combined  I am captain planet!. Captain Planet, he's a hero, gonna take poluttion down to zero, he's the power magnified and he's fighting on the planet side... " THAT is not how the song went.

• Tom and Jerry

NO need for introduction (I can't remember it)

• Biker Mice from Mars

OHHHHHHH!!!!! Really, I even tried to draw these in primary. 

• Power Rangers

Well went on line and tried to find these last year. i don't care how dumb they are. I loved them. I remember fridays boys would be playing soccer and as soon as they came on the street would be empty. 

Tommy, Zack, Jason, Trini, Billy, Kimberly (I always thought she was there just to ride the Aro..), Aiyaiyai ( the robot), Zorag (or something), I knew him as the head. 

"AH!!!... After ten thousand years i'm free, it's time to concuer earth..."

• VR troopers

I thought they were bad rip offs of power rangers but I still watched.

• Grandiser

I have bits and pieces of this. I am not evn sure about the name. (They were in an language I couldn't understand but I wached a fair amount to remember. 

• Dennis the menace

Now I none of these are clear favorites of mine but this comes close. I loved the mischief and trouble and honesty of a little boy. There were two versions of it. There was yellow haried Dennis and Black haired Dennis. I like Yellow haired Dennis more but they were both great. 

• Yogi Bear

Brown bear that caused trouble. 

Then theres some show that was on sundays in Afrikaans. I could never understand it but i watched it. The thing never said anything and i tried my best to undersatnd what they were saying I remember.(Miskin dis  hoekom ek het...Uhm.. Afrikaans so well gepass... DID I? :-})
