Okay read the first iPhone post: Why i want the iPhone
The iPhone2.0 is an Apple product. Apple has great products, i-mac's i-pods and all those exciting things.
That said, I can't afford any of those things. Apple is an innovative company and I want the latest in things and innovations which i can't afford. There is very little gadget wise I can afford.
Now the iPhone2.0
It is great i have been reading the reviews, Actually i am sick of them. The iPhone shop and what nots. It is AMAZING it is fantastic and to be honest i am envious that I can't get it.
Admissions aside what's so wrong with a beautifully engineered phone (I SAID BEAUTIFULLY ENGINEERED!!!)
Its proprietary software. Simple. what the iPhone does not give its software to anyone. That bothers me. Thats all. either than that...
Nokia has Symbiam as open source now, but didn't create enough hype around it.
Google has Android which it appears to be treating as proprietary software i hear
And finally there is Sony Ericsson and HTC which make phone that i desire. iPhone is a baby in the phone market. I like experience sometimes.
