LOOK BACK?

Why should I look back?
Why should I look back at a time when people were suffering? Do I not have people suffering to look at now? Why should I look back at the pain that they felt? Do i not have enough pain now?
Why should I look back at time filled with separation and segregation, a time with oppression and opposition?
Why should I look back and provoke myself and segregate myself?
Why should I look back at people in the past and their pain? what do i stand to gain?
I live in the induced darkness, I do not have food, I am stupid and yet i am told to look back so I don't suffer the same fate as people past. They take food from the children and I should look in the past and not forget the soil.
I do not see reason to dwell in the past when it does not provide me with shelter.
I respect the soil sacrifice but I do not want my feet stuck in it.
I do not want to be held back and have my choice limited.
Have my rule limited.
